Privacy Policy

InviteWorth ("InviteWorth", "we") helps hosts share a gift list and helps guests pick one gift. We collect as little as we can.

The budget you type is never saved

When a guest enters how much they want to spend, the amount stays on their own phone or computer. It is not sent to us, saved, logged, or shared with anyone, including the host. If the guest taps a store button (for example Amazon or Walmart), the amount is included in that store's search so it only shows items within it; that happens only when the guest taps it.

What we collect

• Hosts: event details (name, date, time, place), your first name and the gift list. No email or password is needed.
• Guests: first name and RSVP answer (yes or no, how many people), and, if you save a gift, your first name.
• Counts: how many times an event page was opened, a budget was entered, an idea was swapped, a gift was saved or bought. These counts have no names, amounts or device details.
• On your device: small saved notes in your browser so we remember your RSVP, your saved gift, and (for hosts) your events. You can clear them in your browser settings.

Who can see it

• The host of an event sees guests' first names, RSVPs, and which gift each guest saved.
• Other guests never see anyone's name or who saved what.
• Anyone with an event's invite link can see the event details and the open gifts. Please share it only with your guests.
• Anyone with a host's private host link can manage that event. Hosts should keep it to themselves.

Services we use

We use Supabase (database) and Vercel (website hosting). They process data only to run InviteWorth. When you tap Shop, you go to the store's website, and its own privacy policy applies there.

How long we keep it

Each event and all its guest details are deleted automatically right after the event day. A host can delete an event sooner from their event page. Weekly backups are kept for up to 30 days.

We never sell your data

We don't sell or rent personal information and we don't use it for advertising.

Children

InviteWorth is for adults (18 and over). Events can be for children, but the host and guests using the site must be adults.

Your choices

To see, correct or delete your information, email hello@inviteworth.com. Guests can also cancel a saved gift from their private gift link.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
